When we took the ATIS of Dublin last week shortly before starting our descent, we heard “CAVOK, wind calm”. We thought that we misunderstood, or that the ATIS was broken, or that we were having problems with our VHF receiver. But no. The weather was really fabulous ! 😎
Late afternoon flight to London City. The sun is low on the horizon, giving these windmills a huge shadow. The variations of water depth combined with the low light and altitude clouds show nice shades in the water color.
I only flew once to Sharm El Sheikh, but no wonder it is known to be a paradise for scubadivers…

Flying to London City Airport is just amazing. Every day is different, with a different sky, a different light… Circling around the city when runway 09 is in use is priceless!
