Cumulonimus clouds
If they sometimes can be challenging from an operational point of view, Cumulonimbus clouds are always beautiful to observe, be it because of a lightning, a rainbow or amazing colours at sunset.

It’s just amazing how the clouds can sometimes be painted in such magical colors.
These three pictures have been taken during the descent towards Luxembourg, only a few minutes appart from eachother. This shows how the sky can change rapidly and drasticly when you fly. I will never get tired of this view!

Cargolux Boeing 747 Landing on a spring morning in Luxembourg. Fog patches on the runway make it disappear shortly after touch down, leaving only it’s tail visible. The shark of the sky!
